Jetstar - 13th Birthday Sale - Return Flights for FREE - Domestic Seats from $39 RTN

In celebration of its 13th birthday, Jetstar has once again released a new sale offering free return flights on both domestic and international routes.

The sale has already been released to Club Jetstar members, who have the advantage of advanced bookings through Jetstar’s site until midnight tonight (22 May).

The sale should be open to the general public from just past midnight on Tuesday, 23 May.

With outgoing flights starting as low as $39 (Hobart-Melbourne(Avalon)), return flights for routes within Australia can be had for just that. International return flights are available from $129 (Darwin-Bali).

Other stand-out fares include Melbourne (Tullamarine)-Ho Chi Minh City for $259 return, Sydney-Phuket for $289 return, Cairns-Tokyo (Narita) for $299 return.

The sale looks much like the 2016 birthday special, but some of this year's fares are even lower. For example, Gold Coast-Tokyo (Narita) flights are $29 less than last year at just $320 return. Last year, flights from Melbourne (Tullamarine)-Bangkok were $279, which this year they're just $269.

Jetstar's birthday sale fares don't include checked bags, assigned seats, in-flight entertainment or meals, but all can be added on for an additional fee.

Most flights are available on select dates from October 2017 until March 2018.

The sale ends at 11:59pm on Wednesday, 24 May.
