Target's up to 30% Off on Leading Cosmetics Brands! Ends on the 30th!

As awkward I am to admit this, being a man, but I grew up with a lot of sisters and girlfriends around and know a great deal about make-up,
sometimes even more than the some of the ladies, I see these days. Because if they knew any better, they would not be wearing what some of them do.

So lets talk make-up, ladies. There are quite a few cool things about this sale.

To start with, there are 238 items on sale! So there is a lot to choose from, Target haven't just put up the shades of lipsticks that no one likes enough to buy.

They've put up everything, and to be fair, some of the items are actually best sellers.

There are three brands in the mix, Rimmel, Maybeline and L'Oreal. ( Don't want to be mean, but we all know the one that makes this deal great * wink* )

I won't be picking out favorites this time, because its pretty much a flat discount rate, there are over 200 items and a lot of great buys.
But I will give you brief tour of the sale to save you time and get some good advice.

Firstly, lets talk lips. There's about 65 Lip items to choose from, 57 of them being lipsticks. Don't expect to save a lot here because lip sticks don't cost much, so the discount is proportionally less as well. However, you could make a great saving, if you take a leap, buy a bit more and try to make a collection from this sale. You could make yourself a nice little set at a good bargain. Word of advice, try to stay away from the Maybelline Super Stay 24 Hour Lip Color. Anything that stays on your lips that long is probably not very good for them. Unless its a smile.

One series of lipsticks that come with some personal recommendation is the L'Oreal Paris Infallible 2-Step Lipstick series, the Resolution Red works very well with medium skin tones. And you'll save $10 on each stick. My advice would be to, get a few from this series, and make a more generous buy from one of the cheaper series by L'Oreal.

Secondly, face and eyes. If I were you I would beeline for L'Oreal Mineral options, they come in the True Match series. Mineral based make-up is loving to your skin and you've got about 7-10 items to choose from in this category of foundation.

One product that I would wholeheartedly recommend is L'Oreal Glam Bronze Duo Powder, my ex girlfriend used to love it and not without reason. Its one of the finest powders in the price range. Also, once again, stay away from the Maybelline Super Stay Make Up. Anything that stays on your skin that long is probably not good for you. There are a lot of aging products in the sale as well, however the ones by L'Oreal are at a 25% discount. It might be a good idea to stock up on these creams and serums here, you could save a fair amount.

Speaking about eyes, there are about 59 items up for sale. You might want to pay attention to L'Oreal Paris Infallible Eyeshadow - All Night Blue, which is one of most beautiful shades I have ever seen. The L'Oreal Riche Eyeshadow Quads are really good value for money in my opinion. You get four colors in a theme and they last quite long.

There isn't quite a lot of choice when it comes to the cheeks department, all the blush-on items are from one series, with just two pots from L'Oreal Glam Bronze series.

And last but not the least, nailpolish.

Thankfully, you have a whole range of shades to choose from, rather than the annoying colors and stingy selection that is usual at sales.
You have about 28 shades to choose from, mostly in the L'Oreal Riche Le Vernis series. The L'Oreal Topcoat items are fabulous, absolutely fabulous.

Have fun :)

I'm actually a little proud of it. Lol, I make an excellent boyfriend and guy friend for women.
But also a slightly uncomfortable male friend to have, if you're a man :D
