Sony α5000 (Alpha a5000 - ILCE5000LB) with 16-50mm lens for $547.80 from Videopro

Only recently announced, this is the best price (Australian stock & warranty ie not grey market import) for this camera I've seen. RRP is $699. Currently on sale at JB HiFi for $599. Nice little camera, APS-C sized sensor (most consumer DSLRs have this size sensor - so you can expect similar quality images but with a smaller/lighter camera), The lens is a good kit job with the added bonus of (when not in use) collapses to reduce the space it takes up.

I will note that the camera that this is effectively replacing, the NEX5, actually has some better features (eg focus and screen) although the a5000 does improve in other areas (user interface and sensor).
