Agree. Also I was at Aldi this morning and watermelon was $0.99 per kg but at checkout was halved so got a whole watermelon for $2.50. didn't see any special signs about it..... nice surprise.
As an aside, I've found pre-marinated lamb souvlaki meat cryo packed at my local Coles, plus a kit from Wattle Valley that includes the flat bread and a mix to add into greek yoghurt. The meat is very tender and cooks in a frypan in a couple of minutes. With some lettuce, tomato, and a thinly sliced red onion it makes for a quick & tasty meal.
