KFC - Secret Menu Offer: Zinger Mozzarella Double $11.95 (All States)

KFC Australia has unveiled a never-before-seen chicken burger on its 'secret menu' featuring a cheesy mozzarella patty served between two Zinger fillets.

The epic $11.95 Zinger Mozzarella Double has hit restaurants across the country but hungry diners can only order the creation via the chain's app.

The traditional burger buns have been replaced with two thick slabs of fried chicken - complete with a Zinger-coated mozzarella patty, smoky bacon and lashings of mayonnaise and a tangy tomato sauce.

The new menu item contains 702 calories (2,938 kJ). The average adult daily energy intake is 2,000 calories (8,700 kJ).

How to access the KFC secret menu:

To gain access to these limited-edition items you need to first download the KFC app and find the secret menu.

1. Open the app
2. Tap the ‘Order Now’ button
3. Select your local KFC
4. Tap on the ‘Order’ bucket next to your KFC of choice
5. You’ll now be in the main food menu, however, you need to drag down from the top of the screen to the bottom until you see the Colonel. Once you see him, hold down for around 11 seconds until you see the secret menu pop-up
6. Tap into the secret menu and order away
