Not offended in the least! I am so there. Have the full gas tank for the BBQ, and food & drinks all at the ready. I would note that Australia day is also a great day to meet up with friends & family and talk - celebrate & commemorate our culture and history, both the good and bad. I might even try to take the opportunity to record a few stories from the older rellos, as those are the sorts of things that make family history come alive rather than (as important as they may be) fairly dry records of birth, death, etc. If I have the chance, I might even use this promotion to try to track down when some of our various ancestors actually came over here... but making sure the beer is cold and the meat not overcooked does have a higher priority! ;-)
