I am a bit concerned about the security and privacy aspect for all these 3rd party VPNs. I wouldn't want my credit card data passing through servers in Eastern Europe for sure :)

You are correct KB. I always use a prepaid visa card (AU post) for overseas sites (Amazon, Hulu) which doesn't have a balance of more than $10 for sure :-).

As far as I know, the one I found a while back that Deal Hunter mentioned still works (http://www.topbargains.com.au/cyberg...). Granted it's not free, but for $7 you can use it on up to 5 devices....
