Cheapest way to get Microsoft Office in Australia

So here's the million dollar questions: what's the cheapest place to get Microsoft office in Australia?

Office Home & Student is $169 at Microsoft store (download only).

And that's just one PC. Better versions now come at Subscriptions or are too expensive.

Is there another cheaper (and legal) way to get MS office? Don't get me wrong, I love the simplicity it offers but prices are way too high.

You'll get it cheaper at anywhere other than the Microsoft store. I got a really good deal last time I bought it, it was around $70 from memory (this was back when 2010 was the latest version).

Currently it's $129 at Officeworks, the Good Guys and probably various others.

Sadly they seem to have killed the OEM versions of their o/s and office products, which was where the bargains were..... might be able to find some older licenses somewhere, but yeah not many bargains out there now. Maybe they're trying to encourage people to use other products like OpenOffice? ;-)
