Buying fresh meat packs online - direct from farms

A long time ago, I saw a deal on one of the group buy sites for a meat package. I think it was 50% off on a meat pack which included really good cuts of beef, lamb and sausages etc. Considering, how expensive it is getting to put good meat on dinner table, it would be nice to find websites or details on buying meat directly from farms instead of supermarkets. I can't find any current valid deals but they come off and on - look forward to seeing sites which sell good meat packs on reasonable prices (specially fresh grass fed meat). Thanks for help.

I remember seeing meat pack deals a while ago but most of them are for first time use only i.e. you could only use them once. From Google, a few online meat delivery shops (direct from farms). http://sydneymeats.com.au/ http://www.farm-meat-online.com.au/ http://shop.primequalitymeats.com.au http://feastfinefoods.com.au/ In principal, meat bought from farms will be a lot fresher and harmone free like in the case of most supermarkets and you could get it even cheaper than retail price. The only downside is that you have to buy in bulk which means you should be good at planning your meat consumption over a few weeks and also should have access to a good refrigerator or freezer to store all that meat.

harmone free like in the case of most supermarkets >> coles advertise big that all their meat is hormone free ... would like to try this out too, we have a chest freezer so should have the room, in saying that it is nearly full at the moment. will have to check out some reviews.

Has anyone had a personal experience with any of those sites?
