Adelaide Metro - Free Public Transport from 5 P.M New Year's Eve 2016

There will be FREE public transport from 5pm New Year’s Eve until dawn on New Year’s Day on all Adelaide Metro buses, trains and trams.

These services are brought to you by the Government of South Australia and Adelaide Metro and supported by the Motor Accident Commission.
Paid Adelaide Metro services will resume from between 6am and 8am on 1 January 2017 operating to Interpeak fares.

The FREE New Year’s Eve (NYE) services operate to different timetables to regular services, so download the special timetables below, check them out in Real-Time on your mobile device or call the InfoLine on 1300 311 108 between 7am and 8pm daily or all night New Year’s Eve.

If you're travelling to Adelaide Oval for the cricket there is free public transport all day to get you to and from the match. Please note that Adelaide Oval Express buses won't operate on NYE, however additional services will operate after the match, see timetables below.

Extra train services for New Year’s Eve will be available from 5.00pm until 5.00am on New Year’s Day.

Additional tram services will operate from 5pm New Years Eve until 5am New Years Day. Trams will terminate at Brighton Road as Jetty Road will be closed for festivities. Supporting Tram Shuttle Buses will operate to and from Wigley Reserve, Glenelg and the Adelaide Railway Station from 6.30pm to 3.00am
