I find it rude that after I have gone to the effort of going through every state's catalogue, you see my post and then just amend yours with some of the detail from mine...

Not sure what is going on here...but Lisss I think this is borderline duplicate i.e. whichever state Deal Hunter has posted the 1/2 price specials for should not be included in your deal (since his deal was posted first) and Deal Hunter should not amend his deal to include states like you have done.

These are just my suggestions :)
Any comments from OP?

I have not copied anything from you Liss. Your post is basically a dup and I think there is no need of separate post for just 2 or 3 items that changed state to state. It is my responsibility let people know which state those meet and cheese prices are changed. So I spent another few min to just change the post code and went through the catalogues' first page. If I was you, I would comment on original post rather than making an another post for this.

You are correct mjay. I just let people know meat and cheese products/prices are changed state to state.

I agree mjay. What happened was that our Woolworths deals were posted approx 30 sec apart. We both probably hit submit at 6pm (I did) but mine took a while to process/load.

My deal initially contained at the beginning state specific deals (as i had checked all states) and then all nationwide deals. Deal hunter's only contained nationwide. Because my deal got in second, I amended it to delete nationwide specials and retain state ones.

Then approx 10 min later, dealhunter reported my deal as a dupe then amended his to include the info I had provided. It COULD just be a con l coincidence, but since state catalogues have never differed before, DH would have had to have randomly decided to check other catalogues.

The timing makes me think it was copied, which is why I think it was rude.I had also gone to the effort of typing the catalogue but got in seconds too late, let some of my effort not be wasted....

Deal hunter's only contained nationwide

I don't know how to find a nationwide catalogue Liss, and I initially posted the NSW (2500) one by assuming all state deals are same. A few min later, I realised Meat and Cheese prices are not nationwide and went through post code 3000, 4000, 5000 and 6000 catalogues first page (It only took < 5min) to edit the deal for replicating other states meat and cheese prices. My aim was to avoid the misleading people in other states as every poster have a few min. to correct if something has gone wrong in their posts.

I had also gone to the effort of typing the catalogue but got in seconds too late, let some of my effort not be wasted

This is unavoidable and some how we need to withstand. In every week your or my time of typing Wooli and Coles deals has been wasted after making the original post by one of us. Just cool down..........:-).

You're ignoring my point. "A few min later", after clearly having seen my deal because you marked it as a duplicate, you suddenly realized some prices weren't nationwide. Coincidence? Doubtful.

I am not complaining about having to delete the nationwide deals I posted, I did that immediately. I just think it's unnecessary and mean spirited to knowingly make another deal useless without giving credit. That is my point.

I was annoyed but am over it now, I think this has gone far enough and I can't be bothered spending longer on it. I believe in karma.

In the circumstances since your deal has been amended to include most of the info in mine - mods, I suggest my deal might as well be deleted :)

Dear Liss,

You are just taking about the first 5 lines of the deal (Meat and cheese prices). If the meat and Cheese prices/product are changed in other states, it should be corrected and it doesn't mean that I have extracted info from your post. Catalogues for all states are publicly available and I appreciate if you could comment on original post rather than keeping an another post left for just meat and cheese. If you could make an another post without doing that, I have a right to make it correct by referring other states Catalogues within my editing period .

I suggest my deal might as well be deleted

If there is significant number of deals differ state to sate , an additional post is acceptable, but here, it is just a few Meat and cheese products. I think, regardless of my editing, your post is basically a duplicate.

Oh, so you admit it now. VERY hypocritical of you since you have in the past suggested in forum posts etc that giving credit when due is so important ;)

I'll choose to leave it to karma.
