Jetstar next Member only sale is on 12th March and you must join before 9th to get access. I am not sure about fares but they have claiming $1 fares or other cheap fares in the past. There's a catch to becoming the member as it costs $39.99 joining fee.

From their site:

Club Jetstar is a new membership program from Jetstar. For a once-off AUD$39 joining fee, and a low ongoing annual membership fee after the first year, it provides members with:
• Exclusive access to at least 4 member only Club Jetstar sale events, including $1 sale fares, each year
• Discounts and special offers from a range of our partners
• In addition to the joining fee, an annual membership fee of $39.99 applies after the first 12 months
• Both the joining fee and the annual membership fee are not refundable

Note: Jetstar Flight Voucher is only available at initial enrolment, and is not provided for membership renewals.

Great offer but just wondering if the membership allows buying tickets for family as well or there are restrictions on buying tickets for only the members themselves.

Not sure this is right as I am a club jetstar member and I have not had any emails regarding the sale and nothing appears in my account or on website.

I am a member too and got this in email.

Get ready for the sale! Log into your Club Jetstar account between 4pm - 7pm (AEDT) Wednesday 12 March, 2014. Be quick, fares may sell out before 7pm.

Hi, anyone know when is the travel period and the destination that has the $1 fare? I looking at 1-way trip from Gold Coast to Sydney from between 7 - 9 Jun 2014?

If there is, I will sign up for the membership.

Anyone can advise?

I don't think they will tell in advance, this is a gamble which may or may not pay off.

this sale is probably better if you dont have a pre-determined place to go, and like ot book on the spur on the moment just because it is a great deal.

There's no point paying $39.95 for a membership if you have to make just one trip. At best, you would save just $10 because flights on 7th June from COG to SYD only cost $50.

I will be making a booking of 4 (for my spouse and children). Hence, if it is at $1 fare per ticket, it is definitely good savings.

So not sure if I want to take the gamble.

GC-SYD certainly gets $1 fares in every one of these sales, it's the dates you will be gambling on.
